Description The Charles H. Mead Collection contains 38 pencil and ink drawings, as well as some that possibly include watercolor. The drawings are primarily of scenes and buildings from the Lansing, Michigan, area, with a few from South Haven, Michigan. The drawings that are dated range from 1868 to 1878. Those undated are believed to have been done between 1865 and 1879. Many are glued to heavy card paper backing, and some have mat frames.

This collection has been fully digitized. A representative selection has been included with this record.
